Bent S. Einarsson, has decided to step down as CEO for Iceland Drilling Company. Bent has been CEO since the year 1989, but before that time he had served as the financial manager. Iceland Drilling Company has been know for its Geothermal Drilling operations for decades in Iceland, besides operating internationally in numbers of geothermal projects.

Hekla Energy GmbH negotiates for a new geothermal drilling project in Viborg, Denmark
Hekla Energy GmbH a subsidiary of Iceland Drilling has reached an agreement with Viborg Fjernvarme, Denmark, for a geothermal drilling project in Jutland, Denmark. The drilling contract was signed on Tuesday 6th of December. The project involves drilling for geothermal energy for four district heating companies Viborg, Tonder, Skive and Aabenraa, all located in Jutland.
